PC-Engine owners rejoice! db Electronics and Ishiyakazuo from Harpstone Electronics have tinkered away and developed a mod-less region hack for PC-Engine. While the current db Electronics PC-Henshin allowed PC-Engine games to be played on TurboGrafx-16, the reverse could not be done due to a region check done in software. Enter PC-Henshin Turbo! We've developed an algorithm which patches TurboGrafx-16 games in real-time and allows them to be played on a PC-Engine!

The PC-Henshin Turbo will be released in the coming months - tonight was our first successful trial (it patched every single TurboGrafx-16 game we threw at it). The PC-Henshin Turbo will also be a fully compliant regular PC-Henshin, meaning that this device will be a catch-all converter for both TurboGrafx-16 and PC-Engine.
